A sweet wine destined to be enjoyed with cheese! Golden coloured with aromas of flowers, white peach and honey. The palate is well-balanced rich and luscious with the sweetness being offset by fine acidity. Flavours of citrus, apricot and some caramel notes with a long finish.

The Royal Tokaji Wine Company, established in 1989, is a joint venture of local growers and foreign investors, including renowned wine author Hugh Johnson. Their mission was to restore the quality and tradition of Tokaji wines, particularly the luscious Aszú wines. The winery has become one of the most famous in the Tokaji region, combining tradition with modern technology.

In the vineyards, age-old practices are upheld, with each rotten, raisin-like Aszú berry carefully selected and added to wooden tubs called “puttonyos.” The wines are crafted through a unique two-stage process, resulting in a magical combination of richness and acidity.

The Royal Tokaji range includes dry white Furmint, late harvest Ats Cuvee, 5 and 6 puttonyos Aszu blends, single vineyard wines, and the rare Essencia wines, known for their viscous honey-like sweetness. The winery’s dedication to quality has led to the renaissance of fine Tokaji wines, once again living up to the praise bestowed by Louis XIV as the “wine of kings.”
