Product Details
Fresh and vibrant pale lemon gold coloured champagne with aromas of citrus notes, lemon zest, blossom and toast. The palate is medium bodied, creamy, fine and elegant, with white peach, grapefruit and lemon flavours with a hint of brioche. An exceptional wine from one of Champagnes finest producers. This sparkling wine is perfect for popping on a special occasion and also pairs beautifully with cheese. I would recommend pairing this with very creamy rich cheeses like Brillat-Savarin, Winslade or La Tur. The high fat content in the cheeses will coat your mouth with creamy goodness and the fine bubbles and dry acidity will refresh your palate and set you up for another bite!
Back in 1881, Cellar Master Eugène Laurent inherited the Alphonse Pierlot Champagne House, and with it, the dream of creating exceptional champagnes. To lay the groundwork for greatness, he secured prime houses and land to establish a complete estate. In Bouzy, Tours-sur-Marne, and Ambonnay, he carefully acquired the finest vineyards.
Eugène’s vision was brought to life in Tours-sur-Marne, a charming village ideally located at the convergence of the Marne department’s three main wine regions: the Montagne de Reims, the Vallée de la Marne, and the Côte des Blancs. This picturesque village is one of the prestigious ‘Grand Cru’ areas, encompassing 17 Champagne villages of unmatched distinction. Thus, the Domaine Laurent-Perrier found its home and has been crafting extraordinary champagnes ever since.
