Chianti Classico Riserva Casaloste is a powerful wine, mainly made from Sangiovese grapes, with some other red varieties. It undergoes a controlled vinification process and ages for at least 18 months in oak barriques. The wine exhibits an intense ruby-red colour and a complex bouquet with fruity and wood notes in harmony. On the palate, it is velvety and harmonious, with a perfect balance of acidity and sweet tannins. Best enjoyed after 5 years of harvest, it pairs well with grilled steak or game dishes, and aged hard cheeses. The annual production is limited to 7,000 bottles.
