Tasting Notes: Deep purple-black at the center with a narrow purple-red rim. Seductive red fruit character is accompanied by intense woodland berry aromas, adding finesse. Balsamic, minty, and eucalyptus scents envelop the fruit. The palate offers roundness and a rich, velvety texture, balanced by excellent acidity and integrated grippy tannins on the finish. The ending is powerful and persistent with crisp red berry flavours. The 2018 Roêda Vintage is ripe and seductive yet elegant and restrained, reflecting the characteristics of the year and the contribution of the wines from Roêda’s oldest vineyard plots.
