History and Winemaking
Clos de la Molénie is a boutique winery in the Entre-Deux-Mers region of Bordeaux, owned and run by the dynamic duo Sylvain and Kim Destrieux. Established in 2020, this young estate is quickly making a name for itself with its innovative and small-scale approach to winemaking.
The 2021 Bordeaux Rouge is made using whole bunches and fermented with natural yeasts to enhance its purity and complexity. Aged in a combination of old oak barrels and amphorae, the wine achieves a lush texture with a savoury edge that highlights its modern style.
