A truly bold and characterful cheese, Red Wine Farmer is an Alpine classic that’s full of personality. Its smooth, silky texture is layered with flavours of caramel, cream, and a subtle hint of boozy warmth from the red wine used during its maturation.
This cheese’s journey is a special one: each wheel is carefully washed in a brine infused with local red wine and herbs over a seven to eight month ageing period. This unique process creates a rich and aromatic cheese with a complex, punchy flavour that lingers beautifully on the palate.
Ingredients: Cow’s milk, starters, salt, animal rennet and red wine (sulphites).
