History and Winemaking

The Navarrsotillo family, owning 70 hectares of premium organic and biodynamic vineyards in Rioja Oriental, has been a pioneer in organic Rioja for decades. The cool winters and hot, dry summers benefit their vineyards. Following a full biodynamic process [Demeter certified], they delicately press Tempranillo and Garnacha grapes before fermenting them with natural yeasts. The blend matures in French and American oak barrels for 2 months.

Terra Organica commits to sustainable winemaking by removing unnecessary packaging (such as cork capsules), using FSC-accredited paper and cartons, and employing lighter-weight bottles made from a high percentage of recycled glass. This estate leads in biodynamic harvesting, ensuring unmatched quality.
